Polyhedral Dice Set

Polyhedral Dice are fantasy role- playing dice mostly used in role-playing games to determine the outcome of game events.

The fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is largely credited with this popularizing dice in such games. Some games use only one type such as ten-sided dice and others use a combination of different dice sizes, numbers and styles. 

Polyhedral Dice have at least three straight angles and are two-dimensional shapes. Any dice that has multiple faces is a polyhedral dice. Additionally, the faces are equal to each other in size. The most common kinds of polyhedral dice are probably the six-sided sets used in backgammon or Yahtzee.
